Product Overview
Coffered ceiling tiles will turn your drab drop ceiling into a dynamic design element, and Westminster Ceiling Tiles will give you more design bang for your buck than any other coffered tile on the market. Made from our Feather-Light Series 0.013 in. thick vinyl plastic, they are unlike any ceiling tile you will ever see or feel. You may be surprised by their minimal weight, but their thermoformed design combined with the inherent strength of vinyl makes these tiles rigid, durable, and easy to install and maintain.
All of our Feather-Light Series tiles are Class A fire rated, 100% recyclable, completely waterproof, Greenguard Gold Certified for indoor air quality, and made in the USA. For the look of plaster or tin, with the flexibility, durability, and versatility of vinyl - look no further!

How do you cut these tiles for the locations that don’t require a full ceiling tile?
The Westminster tile has a strong 3-dimensional profile and can only be installed as a full 2'x2' tile - it can not be cut and placed in a grid as a partial tile. Since most ceilings are not perfectly sized to fit a layout of full sized tiles, there will most likely be partial grid squares along the border of the ceiling. For these areas, you will need a border tile that can be cut to fit and installed as a partial tile. They both share the same "square within a square" design.

Hi, in the Westminster video it talks about needing a special bracket that attaches to the grid in order to mount recessed lighting in the tiles (since they are a deep relief). Do you sell that bracket or have the info on what it is? Thanjs

Couple questions. How many tiles/boxes do I need for 1500 square foot? Do you have the grid available to install? How do I figure what I need for the edges? These are going to be in a walkout basement so I likely need clips to keep them from blowing up?

Can you purchase 90 tiles instead of 100 ?
Because all orders are custom manufactured, Ceilume asks that your total order is for at least 25 tiles. If you're ordering more than 25 tiles, you can order the exact number of ceiling tiles required for your project.

If I were to paint these tiles, would I just need to order the translucent? Planning to paint them a navy blue tone..
Most folks order the White tiles if they're planning on painting them. White is the most economical color choice and provides a uniform substrate for painting. All of our ceiling tiles can be painted right out of the box or after you install them. A couple of notes: 1) Painting voids all fire ratings and approvals. 2) Always paint-match the actual products that you are planning on installing. 3) Do not use solvent-type thinners and cleaners.

Just the look I wanted.
I bought 25 Westminster tiles a few years ago when re-doing my kitchen. They were the perfect look I wanted after seeing beautiful coffered ceilings in Roman ruins in North Africa (Tripoli, Libya, USAF) and then in Greece. After the kitchen was done (with sheetrock spacing between the tiles), I enclosed a section of my front porch and used four more tiles. I'm ordering 25 more to do another foyer and a hallway. Great look for a great price.

Great Product

Looks great but bends easily
I just bought 20 replacement tiles after 5 years. These tiles look gorgeous but bend and warp easily when they are moved, or poked by kids.
