Product Overview

Polyline Ceiling Tiles have a modern design ideal for professional and stylish settings. Made from our Feather-Light Series 0.013 in. thick vinyl plastic, they are unlike any ceiling tile you will ever see or feel. You may be surprised by their minimal weight, but their thermoformed design combined with the inherent strength of vinyl makes these tiles rigid, durable, and easy to install and maintain.

All of our Feather-Light Series tiles are Class A fire rated, 100% recyclable, completely waterproof, Greenguard Gold Certified for indoor air quality, and made in the USA. For the look of plaster or tin, with the flexibility, durability, and versatility of vinyl - look no further!

How many come in a box of 2 x 4's and a box of 2 x 2's?

Asked by: Drew
Because Ceilume custom manufactures each order as it is received, there is a minimum order size of 25 tiles. But after that, you can purchase tiles in any quantity needed for your project. We can fit up to 30 of the 2x4 Polyline tiles in a box and up to 40 of the 2x2 Polyline tiles in a box. Please give us a call at 800-557-0654 if you'd like to see a free full-sized sample or have any other questions. We're here Monday - Friday from 7:00 am - 4:30 pm PST.

Can I use these panels as a garage roof with a suspended ceiling system?

Asked by: Graham
Ceilume's Polyline ceiling tiles are made from a thin rigid vinyl material that is only .013" thick. We don't recommend using this ceiling tile as a roofing material and would not recommend them for exterior installation in general.

Are the panels water proof to put in the bathroom?

Asked by: Carolyn 25
Yes, all of Ceilume's ceiling tiles are made from a thin rigid vinyl that is impervious to moisture. They won't absorb humidity and sag like the old mineral fiber ceiling tiles and will be unaffected by any water that may be splashed on them.

What is the drop-out temperature of the panels and where is it listed?

Asked by: bsteinberg
All Ceilume ceiling tiles and panels are currently approved for installation beneath sprinkler systems with an activation temperature of 155 or 165 degrees F. The testing criteria used to gain approval is only concerned with one thing: does the tile drop out of the ceiling grid before the activation temperature of the sprinkler head is reached. Our ceiling tiles do in fact drop out before sprinkler head activation, but the temperature is rising so rapidly that providing an accurate "drop out temperature" would be very difficult. You can view all of our Drop Out Panel information by copying/pasting the following link into your browser: https://www.ceilume.com/pro/drop-out-ceiling-panels.cfm

How much to cover 240 sq ft?

Asked by: Nana
Each Polyline 2x2 ceiling tile covers 4 sq ft. For 240 sq ft you would need a minimum of 60 2x2 ceiling tiles. Depending on the dimensions of your ceiling, you may need to order a few more to account for lost material when cutting the tiles for the areas around the perimeter of your ceiling. If you have the actual room dimensions, you can enter those into our Ceiling Tile Calculator. The Calculator will give you a better idea of how many tiles you'll need for the border areas. You can reach the calculator by clicking on the following link: https://www.ceilume.com/calculator/2x2/white/polyline/
