Product Overview

Uplift prevention clips are designed for use with drop ceiling panels in situations when tile movement due to wind or air pressure changes may be an issue. Clips clip down onto the back of the suspended ceiling grid such that the "wings" on either side of the clip set just above the ceiling panels on either side of the T-bar spine. One clip should be applied to every 2 linear feet of grid where lifting occurs.

If clips are used in drop-out installations (panels are located beneath fire suppression sprinklers), clips must not impede the panel's ability to release and fall from the grid in the event of a fire.

Product Pricing

Our prices are based on the total number of items (both tiles and accessories) in your shopping cart. The more items in your cart, the cheaper the price.

The easiest way to figure out item pricing is to either (a) put everything in your cart and we'll break it down for you, or (b) adjust the quantity of items on the product page above and watch the price change automagically. Alternatively, check out the table below to see all of our price breaks and prices for this product all at once (the yellow highlights the correct pricing, based on the quantity of items you have entered above and what is already in your shopping cart).

Won't these uplift prevention clips restrict accessibility above the ceiling tiles?

Asked by: George
Ceilume ceiling tile are flexible enough that you can gently bend the tiles at the location of the clip to gain access to the ceiling above.

We have flat metal panels, maybe 1/8” thick in high wind location. Would your uplift prevention clips work?
