Grid Mount Ceilume Ceiling Tiles and Drop Ceiling Panels provide you with several different lighting options in addition to the standard t-bar grid mounted fluorescent lighting fixtures.

Translucent Ceiling Tiles

All Feather-Light Ceilume Smart Ceiling Tile and Drop Ceiling Panel designs are available in translucent vinyl in addition to our opaque colors. The translucent ceiling tiles can be installed underneath lighting fixtures, allowing you to install low cost fixtures directly above your t-bar grid instead of relying on expensive grid mount options.

Recessed Lighting

Recessed (can) lighting that mounts directly to the drop ceiling grid can be used with many of our ceiling tile designs. Simply select a ceiling tile design with a sufficient flat area in the middle to accommodate the light opening and trim ring, and install the lighting fixture per the manufacturer's instructions.

Choose a ceiling tile with a sufficient flat area in the middle to accommodate the light opening and trim ring. For this demonstration, we have chosen the Orb Ceiling Tile style.

Cut an opening in the ceiling tile to house the lighting fixture.

Mount the recessed lighting fixture to the t-bar grid.

Insert the ceiling tile into the t-bar grid.

Make any necessary adjustments to the lighting fixture and ceiling tile.

Attach the trim ring to the lighting fixture for a clean, finished look.

Track Lighting

Track lighting that mounts directly to the t-bar grid can be used with all of our ceiling tile and drop ceiling panel designs. Simply select a ceiling tile or panel design and install the lighting fixtures per the manufacturer's instructions.
