Ground shipping to anywhere in the United States is free. We don't think we could say (write?) it any plainer if we tried!
We'll choose the carrier, but rest assured that both small orders (usually FedEx) and large orders (usually freight delivery) are delivered in a timely manner.
Ground transit time from beautiful Graton, California (where all our tiles are made) will depend on where you live, but shipping time (in business days) stacks up about like this:
- 1 day to central California and western Nevada
- 2 days to locations west of the Rocky Mountains
- 3 days to the east slope of the Rockies
- 4 days to the great Midwest
- 5 days to the East Coast
If you need your ceiling tiles "extra fast", "super fast", or "extra super fast", we can do that too! But it's not on the house...

During the checkout process, you will be able to enter your zip code and view the different expedited shipping options available (and their associated costs). Simply pick your poison from the list and be on your way.
The 411 on expedited shipping: Expedited shipping costs are based on FedEx's currently posted rates, and are calculated by both the size and weight of the ceiling tile package(s) being shipped. Also keep in mind that expedited shipping speeds up shipping time, but it does not speed up manufacturing time.
Larger orders may need to ship via freight carrier rather than a common carrier like FedEx. When you place your order, our website knows (spooky, spooky magic) the best way to ship it and it will collect information specific to freight deliveries if it is required. If your ceiling tiles do need to ship via freight, we will palletize your entire order and (once it is picked up) send you the carrier information and a PRO number for tracking.
All of our ceiling tiles are custom run to order, and manufacturing lead time is five business days or less (usually "less"... our production team is rad like that). We start making your tiles as soon as payment is received (instantly if you're paying by credit card, a bit longer if a check or money order is involved), and ship them as soon as they're done.
For your protection against loss, theft, or damage, all orders are automatically shipped with a signature requirement.
If you cannot be available to sign for your ceiling tiles, you can have the tiles shipped to a different address where someone will be present to sign for your shipment and verify that it has arrived safely or to note any problems (unlikely, but better safe than sorry).
Examples of alternative arrangements:
- Ship your order to your work, where you will be present to sign for it.
- Ship your order to a nearby family member, who is home during regular delivery hours.
Ask your cat to sign for your package.
If for some reason none of the above will work for you, please contact us and we'll gladly work with you to make other arrangements.

Shipping to Mexico
Ceilume will cover the cost to ship your items to the Mexico / U.S. border and arrange for the shipment to continue on to your doorstep!
In order to ensure safe, speedy delivery of your ceiling tiles, we'll call you shortly after your order is placed to finalize the arrangements and cost. During checkout, please provide a phone number at which you can be reached Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (Pacific), and we'll give you a call!
Shipping to Panama/South America
