Here's some pictures from a couple installs.  I installed the tiles using ceiling-link.  They came out great and appear to be real wood once in place.  I also used the tiles on the underneath of the my soffits, using casing for the face trim.

My project turned out great. The tiles are very easy to work with. When people walk down into my basement they immediately comment on how great and unique the ceiling looks. I would definitely use this product again if I had a reason to.

The installation went fine as a DIY project, considering the very large area. The installation of the grid system was the biggest challenge and could not have been done without a laser level device.  We are well pleased with the ceiling as it looks very rich and different from the typical spongy look of traditional ceiling tile.  Thanks for a good product. Sorry it has taken me so long to write back, but it has taken us longer than expected to upgrade out basement.  I am forwarding you four pictures that I took this morning of the section of the basement where we needed the tiled ceiling.  First, the Ceilume tile has COMPLETELY transformed the look of the basement.  Everyone compliments the ceiling and when they touch it, they can't believe it's not wood!  Half of our basement has low duct work where we do not have an option other than a drop ceiling. We LOVE the tiles and they were so super easy to install!

We recently renovated our basement into a gathering room.  We needed a drop-ceiling in 1/2 of the room because of all the duct work & water pipes.  I really didn't want to go with the old, boring, chalky tiles, so I happened upon your website and decided to give your Stratford tiles a try.  I'm so glad I did !!  I love them !!  And the price was right too.  Our contractor said they were very easy to work with.  Everyone that has seen them loves them too.  It really gives the room a polished look.  I've attached a couple of photos of our "beach" room.  I give them 5 stars !!

It is great hearing from you and the Ceilume team.  In relation to the installation of our Ceilume tiles...where do I begin.  Your service since the moment we came across your company has been tremendous.  We started this process with samples being mailed out to our home.  After getting over the initial reaction of how light, simple and easy this product was we were convinced that the price was right to move forward.  Within about 10 days our entire shipment arrived.  I was able to enjoy time with my 5 young boys ( all under 12) installing the tiles in the grid as well as cutting out the can light holes.  This may have been one of the quickest, cleanest and easiest do-it-yourself jobs I have ever completed.  We were even able to frame in our retracting projector screen and projector for the home theatre.

We absolutely love the ceiling tile, it installed super easy and looks fabulous.  I attached a few pictures if you want for your examples, thanks to everyone at the company, everything from ordering samples to installation was excellent!

The ceiling was really easy to install which was great and I think it looks great too. However, I was expecting it to be a bit more substantial. If you would do anything, perhaps offer some insulation or something to sound proof. With this ceiling I can hear everything from the room above this. We were concerned about putting anything on top of it for fear it wouldn't hold up because the Ceilume is so thin and light. With that, I've attached two photos.

Here are the before and after pictures.  We replaced our old flourescent fixtures with LED ceiling panels.  We removed wall scounces in favor of small LED spots in the ceiling.  We added ceiling speakers.  We used our original drop ceiling grill, but painted it with a small trim roller.  We removed the old brittle tiles and replaced them with an inexpensive flat tile above the Ceilume tiles.  The room looks great and everyone comments on the beautiful ceiling (almost as much as they comment about the new Smart TV).

Ceilume, I am so happy to have found your ceiling products. They were so easy to order and install. My kitchen was transformed in a few hours. I am very impressed with the service I received and how affordable. I am so happy and telling everyone about this company. It looks great! It really upgraded our store. We are opening our frozen yogurt store Thursday. Here's how we've used your ceiling tiles in our new Frozen Yogurt Shop, TJ's Frozen Yogurt in San Angelo, TX.

Attached are a couple photos for you.  The install went great.  The tiles were very easy to work with and cutting to fit around lights, hard corners, etc was a breeze.  I am happy with the material these are made of, they are going to be very easy to clean if needed.

I just wanted to respond to your email.  I am very impressed and pleased on the ease of installation of these tiles.  I literally just had to use a pair of scissors to cut to size and cut my light holes.  Everyone who comes to see my basement progress, comments on how much the like the tile design.

My project was to frame and drywall the west and south walls in a basement room we used as a schoolroom. The Ceilume tiles were the easiest part of the job. They cut smoothly for fitting around corners and a couple of pipes that could not be moved. The lightness of the tiles made installation a breeze and gentle on my tired shoulders after resetting the grid. I was so thrilled with it that I had to blog about it to my friends.
Our fourteen year old  stretched out on the floor when it was all done. Looking up at the tiles, he said, " this is like being in a fancy hotel room. The ceiling gives this room class." That's saying a lot for their schoolroom now turned into a game room.

Thank you very much for asking about the ceiling, it went absolutely great!  Very easy installation after all of the framing and track was in and great since a lot of areas were hard to make, so it had to be just carefully measured in order to fit.  I will post images to you here and you can feel free about sharing them, they were awesome for the addition of lines coming through, including a gas line, humidifier lines and others, worked great, looks great, already shared your name to lots of people and some have already bought!  Thank you very much!!!

The tiles were easy to install as advertised.  They were sprayed (HVLP gun) with Maison Beige latex paint by Sherwin Williams to match our kitchen wallpaper. (tile took the paint excellently).

My basement project is completed.  What started as a man cave turned into a very nice entertainment area.  The ceiling panels added a very nice element to both the TV room and workout area.

This is the second project I have done in my home with your ceiling tiles.  My home was built in 1980 and had the traditional 4'x8' recessed light well in the kitchen with the four plastic panels mounted flush with the ceiling.  Too much HGTV for my wife and she wanted something done to change it.  I wasn't interested in a major kitchen remodel so I made my own plan for a change. 
 
I removed all the wood trim holding up the plastic panels and removed the fluorescent light fixtures.  A sheet of masonite to cover the ceiling of the well, 2 new light fixtures and on went your tiles.  Matching beadboard on the sides of the well, new trim and walla, it was done in 2 days and we think it looks great!

I have attached photos of the installed ceiling tiles in our bathroom for you to share, they are decorative and definitely improve the appearance of our bathroom and cover up the damaged ceiling plasterboard, so they have served a very important purpose!

We chose your Stratford tiles for most of the job, except where HVAC ductwork prevented a drop ceiling. My wife, who was originally completely against the suspended ceiling "acoustical tile", found your site and we ordered them. Using sheetrock to build a soffit in to a true 2 foot span (so we didn't have to cut any of your tiles), we created what we think is a beautiful, original, and functional basement ceiling.  I have attached images of our game room (where some nice detail work is), as well as a few of the Black tiles in our theater.

I am extremely happy with how beautiful my new ceiling looks.

I absolutely love your ceiling tiles. I have used them once before, and decided to do so again. In this lower level application, because of your tiles, I was able to not lower the ceiling as would normally be the case with traditional tiles.Your tiles are so easy to trim and cut for fitting around air vents, etc.  And also for positioning recessed lighting. The other thing that is great about your product is.... In several cases I had to bend them to position them around air ducts, plumbing and wiring.  The material is so great, that it allowed me to flex them, and when they are in position they pop right back into flat without showing any deformity of the materials! You would never know that they had been bent. I will never use standard ceiling tiles again.

The install went well, the conference room and bar turned out perfect.

Tiles worked beautifully and transformed a dismal, ordinary room. We chose to create a coffered ceiling that is really amazing. Following up with another email to tell you how pleased I am with the way the ceilume tiles worked for me.  The tiles truly appear to be as if they were cast plaster (the effect I had hoped for) and they serve to lighten up a dark room nicely.  The coffering was a challenge with each area needing to be adapted to the vagaries of a ceiling created in the 19th century, but it was certainly worth all the measuring, leveling, and finagling we needed to do. I'll be delighted to send photographs when I have returned home.

Love the ceiling, it upgraded the entire look of the room. It was extremely easy to install and even to cut with scissors.  Had a party last week and all of my friends could not get over how "rich" the ceiling looked.  They loved the fact that I just popped them in.  Have recommended them to a friend at work. The best part is they are flexible... my drop ceiling is only about 2 1/2 inches from the original ceiling and I could not use a regular Armstrong-type panel, because they are hard, do not flex, and there is not enough room to angle the panel to get it into the grid/square. I tried and hated them....they were plain and ugly and the ends chipped off while trying to get them into the ceiling grid (I think they were made of compressed paper) .  Also would have had to dispose of the old tiles... lots of trash in a landfill (and lots of extra work) - love the eco-friendliness of that!! It did not take long at all to install and I did it myself.  The room is approximately 13 1/2 x 24.  It is the best possible product I could have used (without paying someone $3000 to drywall the ceiling) and I did my homework on the internet!

I am finally sending you the pictures of our before and after family room with our new ceiling tiles! The room has gone from the ugliest to the most popular room of the house.

You may laugh at how I constructed it and I should tell you it works perfectly.   I attached the ceiling with Velcro.  I glued one strip on the ceiling which is a metal overhang and then the opposite strip on the tile. Waited until all was dry and then popped them up.   I did that because if I ever get a water problem above I can always take the tile off and fix it. As you can see the room is a small DIY addition and leads onto a deck. The first picture was of the ceiling before it was tiled and it looks lush because the photo is a summer shot.  The other three is as it is now in the winter.So thank you for asking and I am recommending this product to whoever asks me and will not hesitate to use it again.

Attached, you will find pictures of the family recreation room located in the basement of an 1800 square foot addition added to the home a couple years ago.  The white and merlot checkerboard offers a very rich look to the room.  I have received many complements about the look and have referred others to take a look at your product.  Thank you again for your promptness from the delivery of samples to the delivery of the final product.  This room seems to be the room of choice when hosting parties for families and friends.

The tiles worked out great.  I will be designing for two more clients' offices and will be in touch soon for additional orders.

The installation of the ceiling went well. Utilized a total of 238 tiles, took about a 30 hr. total work effort between my wife and I to complete. Overall very satisfied and the ceiling looks great.

We made two orders of this tile - used one in our newly designed lower entrance hallway of the hotel (see attached picture) and the other in one of our meeting rooms.  The hotel is a 101 year old resort property so style was very important to us.  Your product fit the bill very well and we have received numerous compliments since the installation.

The ceiling was probably the best upgrade we have done in our motorcoach... Since it's exactly 8 ft wide by 40 ft, the tiles went up perfectly... With the Fleur-de-lis PVC tiles up it makes the coach look like an 1890's Pullman Railroad coach in here....

We installed the first ceiling (we're doing 3 all together) and it went very well.  We adapted some installation techniques - put 5 squares of double stick foam tape on the back side of the tiles (center spot and then out about 4" in a box configuration) before putting on ceiling.  This kept the tile in place prior to stapling but also kept the centers from "sagging".  We spray painted the tiles prior to installation and then painted the strips on site.  We're quite pleased with the results - see attached photos.  Thanks for a great product.

The project came out perfectly!! Although when my husband and I started talking about finishing our basement I was not happy at having to install a drop ceiling, I had no idea products like yours were available.  I had visions of the traditional cheap looking ceiling panels you buy at regular home improvement stores.  Definitely not what I had envisioned for by basement remodel.  I was thrilled when I found your products online.  I loved the tiles we chose as they were beautiful and very easy to install.  I'm not sure what the cost is compared to the traditional ceilings as I never priced them, but I would gladly pay the amount again to have the project turn out as it did.  I thought it was relatively inexpensive and still gave us the convenience of allowing it to be removed if we needed to do any wiring or plumbing maintenance.  

I would definitely recommend to friends and family that they try these products and most importantly - this company.  I called about 4 times before actually purchasing, and each time I got knowledgeable and friendly staff to answer my questions.  I was hesitant at first about buying online, but you and your co-workers really put me at ease answering all my questions.  The products arrived in excellent condition and right on time.

I've sent a few pics - I'm not sure they really do the ceiling justice.   Please ignore the decorating as we still have some projects to finish up and the furniture is not arranged properly, baseboard and trim is not completed -- but the ceiling looks beautiful.

I have finished my build and the results turned out quite nicely. The tiles have met our expectations and they offer significant aesthetic improvement vs a traditional "classroom" tile. The pictures of the black Stratford tiles in the theater are installed flush to the ceiling joists with black Ceilinglink grids. The white Stratford tiles in the playroom are installed in regular metal "drop" grids.

It's been a long-time coming but we have finally finished the basement refinishing project for which we ordered the Ceilume Stratford ceiling tiles.  We couldn't be happier with how it turned out and already have received many compliments on the ceiling.   The tiles were super-easy to cut and install.   Installing the tiles goes very quickly - it's installing the grid system that takes time.  We actually have 3 different ceiling heights throughout the basement - for two areas we did a true dropped ceiling grid, for the 3rd and largest area we mounted the grid directly to the joists to maximize the ceiling height.  Surprisingly the grid looks better in the two areas where it is actually dropped - the grid appears more uniform and the joints line up much more seamlessly than in the area where the grid is mounted to the joists (we assume that is because the bottom of the joists aren't precisely level with each other and those small differences manifest when the grid is mounted and tiles are installed). 

We replaced the ceiling in our 40-foot motorhome. We had problems with some sagging and discolored areas and, when we pulled down the old ceiling covering, we found some areas of mold that we replaced. We also replaced the fluorescent lighting with smaller lights. It came out wonderful. We are very pleased with the outcome. I've attached a photo of the finished ceiling.

Sorry for the slow response. We just finished painting this last weekend and we are now looking for new furniture.  The ceiling took me about 4 days to install myself - just over  750 square feet in total.

We are very happy with it - very nice product, easy to work with ! (and yes you can quote me).

Also, in an effort to shamelessly promote my rather expensive hobby, I am a film-maker (on the side) and the basement you see in the photo is being set up as a film company/music studio.

Thanks for checking.  I really like the panels, they have transformed my kitchen and my dining room.  I live in an older house and really hated the drop ceilings, but didn't know how to get rid of them without a major project that would have required significant expense, time and disruption.  I installed the Ceilume tile by myself in less than a day for each room!!!

I was born in Peoria, Il but have lived in Colorado for the last 20 years. As a child I spent nearly every summer at my Great-Grandmother's farm North of Peoria. Fast forward to now - I am married with four children. For the the past 8 years we've spent two weeks every summer at the farm in Illinois. (it's been empty for that long) My Great-grandma passed away three years ago (she was one month away from 100) and no one wanted to take over the farm. We've wanted to live there for a long while - we ended up moving there (here) October 2008. I've been in the pizza industry for 12 years - so we found a building in a small town about 10 miles form the farm and opened a pizza restaurant. Researching ceiling options I found your website - and the rest is history. Installation was very easy. The ceiling is beautiful and we have many people compliment on how it looks. I had some left over tiles and I've given several of the tiles out to my guests along with your web address. Thank you for helping us build a successful restaurant!

We can seat about 44 in the dining room and another 44 in our banquet room. Our town has a population of about 2000 and we'll fill both rooms on Friday and Saturday night.

Here are the pictures of our ceiling project. I am very happy with the installation as you can see an excellent improvement. I would gladly recommend this ceiling to the many people that have commented on the ceiling so far. This is the ceiling in my wife's Beauty Salon.

The installation is in a 20' x 22' indoor spa area. I used  24" x 24" white Ceilume Petal Ceiling Tiles and HG-Grid Vinyl Suspension System from Acoustic Ceiling Products. For the edge pieces, I used painted drywall. I selected Ceilume tiles and the HG-Grid system because of the humidity in the spa area. The grid system was slightly more difficult to install than a metal system since the pieces did not snap together as easily as metal and the plastic was much more flexible and harder to keep in place. The tiles dropped right in without a problem. The only problem I had was that I did not realize that the Petal tiles are directional so I had completed a section before noticing that the tiles should be oriented in a specific pattern. We love the new ceiling.  Unfortunately, we did not take any "before" pictures.  I guess we didn't want to look at the Celotex and 48" fluorescent lights anymore.  I don't know if this will help you, but here are two shots I just made.  This is in our basement, which is used quite frequently when family and guests are visiting.

The Ceilume was very easy to install, and the panels you advised us to get for the recessed lighting worked perfectly.

Ceilume is a fantastic product in so many ways!! The fact that I am a Green Company it was important to find a product that was environmentally friendly. When you are considering ceiling tiles you are limited to what you can come up with. Ceilume had several important qualities: Certified GreenGuard- you need good air quality in your work space, the tiles can be recycled, feather-light design uses fewer resources to manufacture and ship and they are Class A Fire Rated. Installation of the ceiling tiles were the easiest part of my entire construction build-out. Instant gratification! Countless compliments from my customers. The ceiling tiles were easy to work with and I used a Dremel Tool to cut the tiles using a 1-1/2 Diamond Wheel. This also worked great for cutting openings in Ceramic Tile.

The ceiling tile grid system I used was HumiGRID which was purchased from Lowe's Home Center which works great with your product for high humidity areas. We plan on using your ceiling tiles for our basement remodel.  Great Product!

Our installation is a little unique, stapled/glued directly to the ceiling, cut exactly to the walls and then caulked at the wall. We also painted all of the background surface and left the raised in white.

Where the tiles meet, I routed a strip of wood to match the raised design on the tiles. I'll also be putting your tiles in my living area.

I used your ceiling in my rec room last year it turned out great. I reordered for my kitchen, also in the basement. Both rooms are next to each other. I put a wood boarder completely around outside perimeter and hung my angle  channel to it. I left three inches exposed and painted black. I used 2x2 black tile around outside and finished with geometric tile  in white inside. It turned out great. Best ceiling tile to work with ever. Thanks.

We remodeled the Adler Building, which was built in 1893 in Historic Downtown
Guthrie, OK. Guthrie was the first capital of Oklahoma and is on the National Historic Trust registry as the largest contiguously restored Victorian city in the United States. The building had gone through many remodels, but none of them had restored it historically. Air conditioning had been added and a drop ceiling had been installed.  The Ceilume Ceiling Tiles were just the answer to restore the historic look with minor modifications. Everyone that walks in the building comments on the wonderful "tin" ceiling.
We have inspired more of the historic building owners to consider installing the Ceilume tiles.

Thanks for your follow-up.  It's refreshing to experience good customer service (I was thinking that it was a thing of the past). Anyway, we purchased a 30+ year old camper and refurbished it.  We used your ceiling tiles over the bunk area, as the original ceiling was torn and hanging down. I have attached a couple of pix to show you how nice it looks now.

We needed to use this type of tile throughout two of our clean room labs in order to allow the existing fire sprinkler system to function to its optimum in case of a fire. It was practically a drop in fit except where some ducting and extension cords came through. It was very easy to cut the needed shape in the tile.

I just finished my installation of your Ceilume Ceiling Tiles in my media room and the results are stunning! I was originally looking for an alternative to conventional ceiling tiles in terms of design and cost. I was looking at tin ceilings, but was put off by the cost. I am always a bit skeptical when dealing with new products, but I ordered your free samples and read as much as I could online about the Ceilume products. The price advantage is what really hooked me, so I decided to try Ceilume and ordered 100 tiles.

The installation couldn't have been easier. I have dealt with standard ceiling tiles before and remember the dust involved when cutting holes or trimming them to size. With the Ceilume tiles there was no dust and I was able to cut 2 or 3 at a time with a pair of scissors! This was a big time saver.

Once my tiles were in place, I sprayed the entire ceiling the same color as my walls. This made the ceiling grid blend in completely with the tiles so they are almost invisible.

I was originally worried that the tiles might move when a door was opened or closed, but it has never happened. After the ceiling was complete I trimmed the room with crown molding, which appears to support the ceiling at the wall. Everyone who has seen the finished room comments about the ceiling. For many reasons that include price, ease of installation, lack of dust, and design options, I am very pleased with my decision to go with Ceilume ceiling tiles.

We've had many compliments on the ceiling. Everyone is used to seeing a plain fissured tile, so this really looks good to them. It was also the easiest ceiling that I've ever put in. My friend that helped me is a licensed installer and was very impressed with the tile. They're so easy to work around any obstacle. Hope I never have to do this again, but if I do, I'll use this same tile.

I absolutely love the tiles I ordered from Ceilume!!  I recently opened an art gallery and I choose the Aristocrat and was advised by one of your co-workers to also use the Stratford edge tile.  They are awesome, in most cases I can't get people to stop looking up at the ceiling rather than the art on the walls!! Your Ceilume ceiling tiles are GREAT!  We initially installed Armstrong ceiling tiles in our renovated basement in November '06 (according to manufacturer's installation instructions) and didn't have a problem until the beginning of June '07 when we had some humid weather.  The basement started to have a horrible smell and we thought maybe something died.  We cleaned everything including rugs, sofa, etc., and two weeks later we discovered it was the ceiling tiles.  We took them all out and the smell disappeared.   That's when I discovered Ceilume and we are all so happy, wish we had gone that way from the get go.  They have been in all summer, which included a period of very hot, very humid weather, and we have had no further problems.  We can now enjoy our 1890 Brunswick Starburst League pool table.  You also have excellent customer service.

The ceiling tiles turned out great.  They look beautiful and have been one of the highlights of our store décor by far.  All of our clients comment on them when they walk in. We built a home on the Mississippi River and see barges, Delta Queen, Mississippi Queen and other river traffic.  It seemed appropriate to use turn of the century décor for the location, so used the Medallion tile edged with Stratford.  I had too many Medallion and not enough Stratford to do the job. You exchanged the tiles with no questions asked.  We appreciated working with you. We found the price equivalent to inexpensive big box store low-end tiles, but Ceilume tiles looked like tiles twice the price at the big box stores.

I ABSOLUTELY love your product!!  I can't tell you how many  people I've given your website to.  Every single person who has seen the new room has commented on the ceiling and how great it looks.  The color is  beautiful (cafe au lait?) and I had black strapping put in, so the taupe color  with the black and the pattern looks very contemporary. The "period correct" appeal that your ceiling tile adds to the building is a huge improvement.  Both my contractor and general contractor were very impressed with your product.

We finally got the ceiling installed, and it looks great.  By the way, the contractor that did the work with me loved your product and said that he was going to recommend it to other customers.  He had never seen or heard of your product till now.

We own a 1904 two story brick building in downtown Walla Walla.  We used your ceiling tiles in two locations.  The first use of your ceiling tiles was for tenant improvements for a new retail tenant.  The space has 15 foot ceilings and exposed brick walls.  It turned out very nice and the tenant was extremely happy with the result.

I am very pleased with the Ceilume tiles.

Your tiles replaced an existing 2x4 system that had become warped due to humidity over the years.  The replaced tiles were a composite and were the type generally available in large home improvement stores.

Ceilume tiles were first noticed on a Food Network show and your company came up in an Internet search.  Your website was comprehensive and provided all the information necessary to make a decision.  Your offer for the sample tiles made it very easy to make a decision regarding style. 

When the original ceiling was installed, a perimeter was constructed to account for irregularities in the dimensions of the room. (12' 9" wide)  The room also has a bay window.  This presented a problem.  The old tiles were used as a template to cut the Ceilume tiles to fit these irregular spaces in the grid at the bay window.  It took a lot of planning, time and it was tedious.  The design I chose was not the easiest to work with.  The tiles you offer for these irregular spaces would have made the room look unbalanced.  However, the results were worth the effort.

The installation of the tiles was unbelievably easy. The old composite tiles chipped and flaked during the initial installation and when they were removed.

I took the opportunity to try latex paint on the samples.  Again, the results amazed me.  It was interesting to note that you now offer colors.

Some of the tiles were damaged in transit and your customer service department was very accommodating.  I would suggest that someone consider using bubble wrap or Styrofoam to protected the corners of the tile.

One of the reasons we used Ceilume in our 50,000 + Sq. Ft flagship store is because they can be installed under fire suppression sprinklers, which saves a lot of money on installation materials and labor, since no visible sprinkler drops were required. And Ceilume's GREENGUARD Environmental Institute certification for indoor air quality is a real benefit for our health conscious customers.

We are absolutely thrilled with the Ceilume ceiling tiles.  We have had so many compliments.  They are one of the first things that people comment on when they walk into the basement.  My contractor raves about them and said he'd never go back to using the "other" type of tiles.  As you can see, we were even able to hang the light over the pool table by cutting out a small hole for the hanging fixture and wiring.  Please feel free to share the photos on your website.

The installation went well. I wanted to replace the acoustic tiles that were in my bathroom, to avoid mold and mildew. The vinyl tiles will hold up much better in this damp environment. The new tiles were very easy to work with, I simply cut them with scissors! It has also made the small room feel much brighter and cleaner.

The project went well and my mother in law is please with her new sun room ceiling. She likes that the sun can still come through the skylight. I used "ceiling link" to fasten the tiles to the sheet rock.  This is a great product. The Orb ceiling tiles were easy to install, cut to fit and look great.

These pictures are of a family room that we built in our unfinished basement. Your ceiling tiles are so thin and flexible that we were able to mount them 3 inches from the rafters; something I could not have done with traditional tiles.

The installation went great. The room looks 100% better without those old ratty acoustical tiles.

The panels were easy to cut... it was a snap to cut the round holes in order to install the lights. I also painted the support rails to match and blend in (I did this before installing them). I have just raved to everyone about these fantastic tiles and the cost was the same price as using the boring fiberglass tiles they sell at Home Depot or Lowes. I wish our ceiling had more clearance, I would have loved to try some of the deeper inset styles.

My husband and I just had to write you to tell you how impressed we are with your ceiling tiles. They are so easy to install and look beautiful too.  I am attaching a couple pictures of our kitchen. They aren't the best pictures in the world but then we aren't "pro" photographers either. I think they pretty accurately show the ceiling.  We love it...

We, upon first impression, probably "overkilled" on the fanciness of the ceiling but I love it.

My project turned out wonderfully. I installed the medallion tiles and for the perimeter I used a textured wall paper right over the old primed drop ceiling tiles. Like I said, it looks really great. In fact, company that's never seen our ceiling before thought the ceiling was a plaster cast that was actually original to the home (we live in an older house).

I left the old existing drop ceiling tiles in place along the outside edge. Where possible, I removed metal brackets that were not part of the ceiling support structure. Then to smooth things out, I used joint compound where metal brackets of the grid touched the old tiles. This way when I put up the wall paper it would not be so obvious where I still had metal brackets. When I feathered out the joint compound between brackets and tiles to my satisfaction,  I used a high quality sealer primer (Bin 1-2-3) over all of that.

The wall paper was a heavier paper, designed to go over paneling or cracked plaster walls and hide what was beneath it. I don't remember the
brand off hand, but I bought that at Menards. For some of my seams, I had to touch things up with a little white caulk, which blended in very nicely.

If I look hard or if the lighting is just so, I can see where I have metal brackets behind the wall paper, but it really isn't too noticeable for sure. It might just appear to be a ceiling joist behind plaster to someone who doesn't know - if they can see it at all.

I put them in our bedroom and walk-in closet. We love our ceiling and anyone who has seen it remarks how original and different it is. I installed it myself and it was a snap.

It turned out great, very happy with the overall effect and cost for the job. You were also very speedy with delivery, which I appreciated.

The new ceiling is up and I continue to get compliments.  It was a lot of work but well worth it.  I used rope lighting behind the translucent tiles.  I did have to use some creative carpentry at the peak of the ceiling.

The installation went very well. Your product looks fantastic. I was surprised, after my local fire inspector mentioned, that we are the first business in Des Moines, IA to use this product. The fire department officials were skeptical, however, after researching the technical data were as impressed as I was when I first learned of this technology.

I just finished the ceiling install this weekend. It came out great. I am not a contractor so I can't compare to how much easier it was to the standard tiles but it certainly was easy and has been the most fun part of the entire project. I have showed the tiles to a few people and they were quite impressed with it, as I am. Especially when I tell them it was not much more than the basic ones you see in Home Depot or Lowes. You guys need to get your product in there so more people can find out about it. It is extremely easy for the "do-it-yourselfer". 

My family was very impressed with the ceiling we installed.  We love the look and character it gives the room and how easy it was to install.  My fourteen year old daughter and I finished the installation in just a couple of hours.  The edge pieces were very easy to cut with scissors and I'm looking forward to showing off the finished room over the Thanksgiving Day Holiday.  I know I'll be recommending this product when others see the quality and learn how easy it was to install.

We recently began renovating our basement. The basement was quite dark with wood paneling, recessed lighting, and mineral fiber ceiling tiles. The mineral fiber tiles had been there for a long time and were put there by the previous homeowner. The old tiles were stained, crumbling, and very dusty. We knew that we wanted something different for our ceiling. I had seen the aluminum tiles and thought they were interesting, but much too expensive. The ceiling tiles look great and we are very happy with the Ceilume tiles.  We've had numerous customers compliment us on the ceiling - it really gives the salon a distinctive, upscale look.  It was great working with your company and I have recommend you to another business in the area that is looking to upgrade their ceiling.

The installation was relatively simple and easy since your tiles were lightweight. We hit a few snags here or there with some existing heavy objects (wiring, a/c ducts, etc.) sitting above the tiles so my contractor tied them up to the ceiling to support their weight. It definitely gave our old building an updated look. Several visitors we've had between December and now also noticed the aesthetic change and had made positive comments about it. 

I must tell you at first I was quite skeptical about the product. Something about the weight and material was not appealing at first and I thought to myself "what did I get myself into"? However after installing the product in three areas of the basement, I can say that the product is the first area that people comment when they come into the room. They think the material is either carved wood or metal and expect the costs to be significantly higher than the standard store bought flat tiles. They are shocked by both the true costs and the actual materials and when they understand the ease of installation, the product sells itself. My ceiling turned out beautifully!  I completely renovated an old building in a very small town in southwestern Michigan.  When we finished the project, many people in town were very interested in seeing what we had done.  For the first few weeks we spent about as much time giving tours of the facility as we did working.  Fortunately, the building turned out well and everyone seemed to be really impressed with the place.  The top item on the list of things that people mentioned that they loved was my ceiling.  "Where did you find that?"   
   
As a matter of fact, a local historian came in and took pictures of the place.  She brought me copies of them.  Out of the twenty or so pictures she took of the building, three of them were of the ceiling!

The ceiling tiles are in a dry cleaning shop outside Chicago.  Everybody likes them, even the building inspectors!  There were drop ceiling tiles already in place - dirty and yellowed - I just painted the grids and inserted the Ceilume under the mineral fiber panels. Some had to be stapled together but it was worth it. In a dry cleaners, the humidity and dust yellow up the fiber panels quickly, with yours, I can clean as needed and the panels look especially good with the T-8 lights.

The tiles add a new dimension to ceiling design.
