We LOVE our better than tin ceiling - easily installed and absolutely gorgeous.  It's a beautiful accent, and we couldn't be happier.

Sorry it has taken me so long to write back, but it has taken us longer than expected to upgrade out basement.  I am forwarding you four pictures that I took this morning of the section of the basement where we needed the tiled ceiling.  First, the Ceilume tile has COMPLETELY transformed the look of the basement.  Everyone compliments the ceiling and when they touch it, they can't believe it's not wood!  Half of our basement has low duct work where we do not have an option other than a drop ceiling. We LOVE the tiles and they were so super easy to install!

Ceilume, I am so happy to have found your ceiling products. They were so easy to order and install. My kitchen was transformed in a few hours. I am very impressed with the service I received and how affordable. I am so happy and telling everyone about this company. The tiles were easy to install as advertised.  They were sprayed (HVLP gun) with Maison Beige latex paint by Sherwin Williams to match our kitchen wallpaper. (tile took the paint excellently).

This is the second project I have done in my home with your ceiling tiles.  My home was built in 1980 and had the traditional 4'x8' recessed light well in the kitchen with the four plastic panels mounted flush with the ceiling.  Too much HGTV for my wife and she wanted something done to change it.  I wasn't interested in a major kitchen remodel so I made my own plan for a change. 
 
I removed all the wood trim holding up the plastic panels and removed the fluorescent light fixtures.  A sheet of masonite to cover the ceiling of the well, 2 new light fixtures and on went your tiles.  Matching beadboard on the sides of the well, new trim and walla, it was done in 2 days and we think it looks great!

We chose your Stratford tiles for most of the job, except where HVAC ductwork prevented a drop ceiling. My wife, who was originally completely against the suspended ceiling "acoustical tile", found your site and we ordered them. Using sheetrock to build a soffit in to a true 2 foot span (so we didn't have to cut any of your tiles), we created what we think is a beautiful, original, and functional basement ceiling.  I have attached images of our game room (where some nice detail work is), as well as a few of the Black tiles in our theater.

The ceiling actually went in fairly easily. I still think it would be nice to make the tiles of a slightly heavier gauge of material which would increase the stability and confidence during installation. Never-the-less I am extremely pleased with the finished product.  Would that the rest of the space was as finished as the ceiling!  We'll be done in a couple of weeks and I'll be able to relax and look up once in a while.  This is the newly remodeled lower level of my house in Connecticut.

The installation of the ceiling went well. Utilized a total of 238 tiles, took about a 30 hr. total work effort between my wife and I to complete. Overall very satisfied and the ceiling looks great.

Thanks for checking.  I really like the panels, they have transformed my kitchen and my dining room.  I live in an older house and really hated the drop ceilings, but didn't know how to get rid of them without a major project that would have required significant expense, time and disruption.  I installed the Ceilume tile by myself in less than a day for each room!!!

What a transformation!!! The product was very very easy to use and very easy to cut and install. I just traced out the old tiles onto the new and took my scissors and cut to fit. The whole kitchen took me about 2 hours. I had looked into doing a tin ceiling but the cost was about 4 times as much as these tiles. That's not really cost effective for a single home owner. My realtor is a good friend of mine and thinks changing out the tiles was a great idea and a beautiful option. All my neighbors have drop ceilings as well and I'm sure will be ordering some for their houses. I have an office that I'm remodeling and need to keep the drop ceiling so I'll be placing another order shortly. Thanks again for helping me with the kitchen and giving me an option other than having the expense of dry walling my ceiling for $4000. Thanks again!

We built a home on the Mississippi River and see barges, Delta Queen, Mississippi Queen and other river traffic.  It seemed appropriate to use turn of the century décor for the location, so used the Medallion tile edged with Stratford.  I had too many Medallion and not enough Stratford to do the job. You exchanged the tiles with no questions asked.  We appreciated working with you. We found the price equivalent to inexpensive big box store low-end tiles, but Ceilume tiles looked like tiles twice the price at the big box stores.

The "period correct" appeal that your ceiling tile adds to the building is a huge improvement.  Both my contractor and general contractor were very impressed with your product.

It really amazed me the dramatic impact it made in the kitchen. I have received nothing but compliments on them and have given your website address to a couple people... Thanks again!

The panels were easy to cut... it was a snap to cut the round holes in order to install the lights. I also painted the support rails to match and blend in (I did this before installing them). I have just raved to everyone about these fantastic tiles and the cost was the same price as using the boring fiberglass tiles they sell at Home Depot or Lowes. I wish our ceiling had more clearance, I would have loved to try some of the deeper inset styles.

My husband and I just had to write you to tell you how impressed we are with your ceiling tiles. They are so easy to install and look beautiful too.  I am attaching a couple pictures of our kitchen.  A picture is certainly worth a thousand words.  Thank you for all your help in helping us decide which tile to use.  We definitely would recommend your company and its products!!

I'm very happy with the way the project turned out. I found the tiles easy to work with, and they're a big improvement over the standard drop ceiling tiles I had before. I'd certainly use them for any future drop ceiling projects. I painted the tiles antique white before installation, and I think this really improved the look.
